3 Daft Monkeys

20 Year Celebration Night!

+ People’s String Foundation

+ The Eyelids

Come and join iconic festival legends 3 Daft Monkeys for an unmissable rampageous night celebrating a momentous landmark moment in their career... 20 years of musical adventures, magic and mayhem!

At this momentous event, 3 Daft Monkeys will be performing their ultimate ‘best of’ set list, voted for entirely by the fans, covering all their most popular songs both new and old. These songs will be performed as you’ve never heard them before, as the band will be joined on stage by some of the finest string and brass musicians in the land as their very special guests.

The whole performance will be recorded ‘live’, and the CD will be available to pre-order on the night, along with a whole selection of new merchandise to mark the 20 year anniversary. And what better place to celebrate than the place where it all began.... Falmouth! This will surely be a night to remember, with two of Cornwall’s finest ‘live’ acts and personal friends of the band opening the show, the sublime urban gypsy tribe “People’s String Foundation” and voodoo garage queens “The Eyelids”.

It’s hard to believe that 3DM will have been whipping up crowds into a frenzy, at festivals and venues in the UK and across Europe with an endless energy and enthusiasm for two whole decades! Completely independent, pioneering and relentless in their approach to touring and gigging, 3 Daft Monkeys have always remained true to their roots. The band hope this night will be a huge thank you to all their dedicated and wonderful fan base that have supported them through the years.

With a fiery helter-skelter blend of influences from East and West, 3DM inject a unique wildness into their music, producing a symphonious cacophony of styles, Silvery vocal melodies soar above percussive global beats and rhythms, while passionate fiddle-driven tunes weave around animated guitar and bass, all presented with outstanding musicianship in their famously theatrical live performances.

The band have been personally invited to play live sessions on both the Bob Harris, and Mark Radcliffe BBC Radio 2 shows, with Mark Radcliffe hailing their live show as one of his “Highlights of Glastonbury”
