Jenny & The Changeling

It was once believed that 'spriggans' stole babies and left changelings behind to feed on the mother's milk. Making life unpleasant for the changeling was thought to force the spriggan to return the real child. Couldn't all babies be mistaken for 'changelings' occasionally?

Look to the Stars

Inspired by Hesham Moadamani, a young journalist who swam across the Aegean Sea at night from Turkey to Greece whilst fleeing his homeland of Syria. I heard his story on Radio 4’s Short Cuts, and was deeply moved by his description of how, at the point when he thought all was lost, he looked up to the stars as he floated in the icy sea, and admired their absolute beauty.
